What is the C.L.I.M.B. Program?
Are you ready for a leadership program designed specifically for young Catholic leaders? Prepared to get hands-on training, giving you the skills you need to serve the community, your parish and school? Ready to roll up your sleeves and learn by doing, with speakers, service projects and sharing with others from across the Archdiocese? More importantly, are you ready to C.L.I.M.B. to the summits of our faith?
C.L.I.M.B. stands for Catholic Leadership: Identify, Motivate, Believe and is targeted at young Catholic leaders aged 15-19 who are ready to take Catholic leadership to a whole new level.
Are You Ready To C.L.I.M.B.?
C.L.I.M.B. participants commit one Saturday each month over a four month period to develop their skills through a specialized program. We illustrate the vital links between home, school, community and parish as we develop leaders and their gifts through the C.L.I.M.B. program.
A variety of settings may serve as our campus for the C.L.I.M.B. program. From service placements to churches, schools and outdoor challenge initiatives, participants will learn by doing. From hands on team challenges to guest speakers, faith sharing and role plays, young Catholic leaders will be empowered to use their talents to help others.
Who should C.L.I.M.B.?
Young Catholic leaders aged 15-19, who are eager to develop their own leadership skills in a faith-based context. The C.L.I.M.B. program will be facilitated by young people for young people - a group of young adult Catholic leaders, trained and selected by the Office of Catholic Youth staff, will support and help animate the C.L.I.M.B. program.
Registration is limited, so be sure to get your registration in as soon as possible. Contact the Office of Catholic Youth at: (416) 599-7676 for more details. Registration deadline for our March 2008 program is Friday, February 22nd, 2008. Cost of the program is $45, which includes all materials and activities related to the four monthly sessions.

Vision
Young people working together to celebrate the mission of Christ.
Mission
To identify, form, link and integrate youth as disciples of Christ, challenging each other to answer the call of Jesus to love and serve.
Identify
Through call and response – we connect our actions with our baptismal call to share in the mission of Christ.
Form
Formation helps young Catholics develop a prayer life with a sense of mission. What tools do we need to be Disciples of Christ, answering the all to serve others at home, at school, at church and in the community?
Link
We create opportunities for young Catholic leaders to gather, supporting each other and exchanging ideas.
Integrate
Jesus assures his disciples with words such as, “Peace be with you; Be not afraid; I love you; Go forth…Growing to trust our call to love and serve as young Catholic leaders.
