Leadership and Peer Support - GPP301-01

This course prepared and motivates students to provide leadership and assistance to other in their schools and communities. Students will volunteer with a variety of local charities. They will earn a high school credit and there is no cost other than TTC tickets/transportation.

Canadian Certificate in Youth Ministry Studies - UNIVERSITY OF ST. MICHAEL’S COLLEGE

Continuing Education Division - Canadian Certificate in Youth Ministry Studies
The Certificate in Youth Ministry Studies is an education program for those in ministry with youth in both parish and school settings. It equips leaders with the knowledge, skills, practical tools and techniques needed for creative and comprehensive ministry with youth

Who is this program for?
This program is designed for persons involved professionally or as volunteers with younger (10-14) or older (14-19) adolescents in a parish or school setting. The primary aim of the program is to promote personal, spiritual, and ministerial growth.

USMC will be offering two of the eight mandatory courses: Principles of Youth Ministry and Practices of Youth Ministry

ECCCLC 2010

The ECCCLC is an annual joint-parish retreat held during the Labour Day long weekend for Chinese youths aged 17-35 across Eastern Canada. Every year since 1977, this special retreat has provided a unique opportunity for young people to come together to share their spirituality and to learn more about the Catholic faith.

Cost of retreat:
First timers: $170 (before July 18th, 2010), otherwise $180
Not first timers: $180 (before July 18th, 2010), otherwise $190
