Youth Weekend -- March Break 2012

"Proud 2B Catholic Youth of the 3rd Millennium"
Join other youth for a weekend full of sporting activities (soccer, volleyball, basketball), music and skits. There will also be an opportunity for prayer and meditation with talks and discussion on various issues. Topics include: Sexuality, Life & Family, Internet & Addictions, God & Church, Vocation and others. Special guests for the weekend include Archbishop Thomas Cardinal Collins, Archbishop of Toronto and Archbishop Emeritus Theodore Cardinal McCarrick from Washington, DC.
Cost: $20
Lodging is available for those who are coming from other cities

Day of Recollection
Manresa Jesuit Spiritual Renewal Centre

9 AM -- 6 PM
"Come away and look within"
This day of peace, prayer and discovery will be an opportunity for homeschooled youth age 13 to 16 to look within and grow closer to God. This day will be focused on getting to know each other a little better, guided prayer, short talks, and sharing in groups. There will be listening, praying, learning, Mass and an opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation as well as lunch, snacks and supper. This Day of Recollection is being led by Father Mike Hawkins S.J.
Youth fee: $45 (inclusive)
Chaperone fee: $30 (inclusive)
Deposit of $25 to be made by February 29, 2012
