Previously known as the CYO, the Office of Catholic Youth (OCY) was born in 1994 to provide support and advocacy for youth ministry and youth activities across the Archdiocese of Toronto. The OCY receives its funding from ShareLife, the charitable fundraising arm of the Archdiocese. An Advisory Board of educators, clergy, lay people and youth meet four times annually to review the activities of the OCY while a 'youth think tank' of youth ministers and young people come together several times throughout the year to brainstorm and exchange ideas relating to the OCY.

Welcome from the Director

Welcome to the website of the Office of Catholic Youth, Toronto. Our mission is to identify, form, link and integrate youth as disciples of Jesus. Within the archdiocese we want young people to be involved in the life of their parish communities, especially in the Sunday Eucharist.

Our website is a great tool for evangelization, catechesis and has many resources for faith development. For example the Pastoral Plan will assist anyone to discover the richness of our Catholic Faith as well as concrete ways to put it into action.

As you browse through our website you will discover information about who we are, what we do, list of events, programs and pilgrimages, pictures, information about OCY staff, etc. More importantly this website acts as a resource tool for youth or those involved in youth ministry.
