Hands of Service Scholarship
Are you a young person who is making a difference in the community? If the answer is yes, then you could be eligible for a scholarship from the Office of Catholic Youth. This scholarship will go to a student who has shown outstanding leadership in their local parish, home, school and community.
The Hands of Service Scholarship is valued at $1000.00

Who is eligible?
A young catholic leader who meets the following criteria:
- Lives in the Archdiocese of Toronto
- Is known in their parish community
- Is graduating from High School and has applied for post secondary education
- Demonstrated outstanding leadership in their parish, home school and communities at large.
What you'll need
- A fully completed and signed application (click here for an application form)
- An essay of up to 500 words describing the your leadership contributions in the community.
- One letter of support or confirmation from the community group, groups, or individuals who have been the focus of your involvement
- A letter of recommendation from your school and parish.

Deadline
Completed applications and supporting materials must be returned (to the above address) and postmarked no later than Friday April 4th, 2008.
The applicant that is selected will be notified by the end of April 2008 and will be formally announced at the Annual OCY Banquet on May 8th, 2008.
