"Rejoice in the Lord always."
(Philippians 4:4)
Although World Youth Day is celebrated internationally every 2-3 years, did you know that it is celebrated locally in each diocese every year on Palm Sunday? Dioceses around the world are invited to celebrate World Youth Day in 2012 on Palm Sunday. You are all invited to the annual Palm Sunday celebration once again this year.
This celebration includes catechesis, praise & worship and the beginning of Mass at St. Paul's Basilica. Plus, there is a procession through the streets of downtown Toronto with the WYD 2002 Cross to St.
Michael’s Cathedral for the continuation of the Palm Sunday Eucharist.
Catechist and Principal Celebrant:
A personal favourite of his to attend, the OCY is pleased to announce that the newly elevated Cardinal,
His Eminence, Archbishop Thomas Collins will be present once again this year for the WYD Palm Sunday Celebration
