Pastoral Plan 2007/2008

We continue to follow the thematic path set out by the Holy Father. This year's World Youth Day themes are “Love one another, as I have loved you” (John 13:34) and “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses” (Acts 1:8).

We are called to love one another and become a sign of God's kingdom. But how do we do this? Jesus teaches us that the kingdom belongs to the people of the Beatitudes. We are able to become such a people and be witnesses through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our monthly themes begin with the end of the Eucharistic liturgy, with being sent forth in the Spirit and fed by Jesus Christ. Over the course of the year we will look at the characteristics of the people of God as outlined in the Beatitudes (Mt. 5:1-12) to help us understand what it means to be a modern-day prophet, a modern-day agent for justice and peace.

The gateway to each month is the online calendar. Here, you will find challenges, reflections, and links to resources.

Thank you to the Pastoral Plan team: Joanne Amaral, Gerard Calderon, Regina De Los Santos, Alisha Fernandes, Fr. Edwin Gonsalves, Sr. Christine Kazimirek, CSSF, Lecia Kiska, Dean Penafiel, Emanuel Pires.
