Youth Ministers' Appreciation Day

We invite all youth ministers from across the Archdiocese to come together for this special day. We will begin with Mass and continue by sharing resources for the upcoming year and discussing diocesan preparation plans for the International Eucharistic Congress in World Youth Day 2008 in Australia, including important information about local celebrations. We’ll treat you to a catered lunch and give you a chance to meet other youth ministers in your area. There is no cost for this day.

September 22 will also mark the beginning of this year’s Youth Ministry workshops for both new and experienced Youth Ministers. The topic covered this day is Youth Ministry 101 – the nuts and bolts of planning programs and events. Future topics include: sources of our faith and liturgical music ministry.
